# AgentNode: AI-Powered Lead Follow-Up for Real Estate

> AgentNode texts your dormant leads with personalised messages, keeps conversations going automatically, and hands off to you when a reply needs a human.

Welcome to the AgentNode documentation. AgentNode is an AI-powered SMS follow-up platform built for working real estate agents — it reaches out to every dormant lead in your database with a personalised text, keeps the conversation going on its own, and hands control back to you the moment a reply needs a human touch. These docs walk you through everything: setting up your account, importing contacts, running campaigns, managing your inbox, and understanding the guardrails that keep your outreach compliant and on-brand.

## How AgentNode works

<Steps>
  <Step title="Sign up and configure your preferences">
    Create your account and tell AgentNode two things: what you message leads about and when you want messages sent. You can update both at any time in **Settings**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Import your contacts">
    Export your existing database from your CRM or spreadsheet as a CSV and use **Import CSV** from the Inbox. AgentNode reads names, phone numbers, and any notes you include. At import you confirm that these are contacts you have a prior relationship with — that record is stored on file. AgentNode then asks what you want to do with the contacts you just brought in.
  </Step>

  <Step title="AI sends personalised texts in your voice">
    AgentNode drafts an individual follow-up message for every lead, drawing on what you know about them and current market conditions in their area. Campaigns run automatically on your configured schedule — AgentNode sends the opener, answers straightforward replies, and keeps the conversation moving without waiting on you.
  </Step>

  <Step title="You take over when it matters">
    Whenever a conversation reaches a question AgentNode can't answer — pricing, contracts, or anything unclear — it stops, flags the reason, and surfaces the thread at the top of your **Needs You** queue. You pick up the conversation exactly where it left off.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What's included

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="AI Messaging" icon="robot">
    AgentNode writes a personalised follow-up for each lead in your voice, drawing on what you know about them and conditions in their area — so every contact gets a message that feels like it came from you.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Campaigns" icon="paper-plane">
    A campaign is an automated job that runs for a set of contacts. Set it up once and AgentNode keeps working it — sending openers, answering replies, and adding new contacts as they come in — until you pause or stop it.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Guardrails" icon="shield-check">
    Built-in guardrails detect questions AgentNode shouldn't answer — pricing, contracts, anything unclear — and escalate those conversations to you instantly, keeping you in control of every sensitive topic.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Opt-Out Management" icon="ban">
    Any contact who replies STOP is opted out straight away. AgentNode never texts them again, and no campaign can pick them up. Their status is permanently logged so they're never messaged again.
  </Card>
